What do I need in order to have a document notarized?
Aside from the document, everyone signing the document needs to be present and provide a current government issued photo ID. Don't have a current ID? There may still be a way. Contact us to discuss.
Does a will need to be notarized?
Almost always, yes. And most need two witnesses.
My document calls for witnesses. Do they need to be present at the signing?
That depends on how the document is written. It's best to check with the person who provided the document. We can't tell until we see the physical document.
Can you provide witnesses?
We cannot. Besides, it's important to have witnesses you know, in the event they need to testify about the validity of the signing later. You'll never find witnesses you only met once many years ago.
Can you write a document for me?
No, we can't. The law forbids us from acting as an attorney.
Can you notarize a document to prove it's authentic?
We can notarize a Certified Copy. It will state that you certify that the document is an identical copy of the original.
Do we come to you for notarization?
We are a Mobile Notary Service. I travel to you to provide mobile notary, loan signing, and I-9 verification services to your home or business, and to hospitals and care facilities throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania focusing on the Main Line, the I-476 corridor from Audubon to Media/Swarthmore, and communities such as Bala Cynwyd, Wayne, Lower & Upper Merion, Havertown, Broomall, and many more. Go to our Where We Go page to see our extensive service area.
What is an I-9?
The Department of Homeland Security requires you to prove that you are authorized to work in the US, and they use the I-9 form to do this. We act as the authorized agent to make sure that it is completed in full with the required ID information documented, enabling you to start your new job ASAP.
Can you notarize loan packages?
We are certified by the National Notary Association, the industry Gold Standard, as a Certified Loan Signing Agent. This includes an annual criminal background check. We've done countless loan signings.
Can you print our documents?
We sure can. Printing charges vary depending on the number of pages. As an example, most loan packages are 200 or more pages; the charge for that would start at $20.
